Marilyn Howington, Piano Instructor/Studio Owner

​        Marilyn Howington has been playing the piano since the age of five. She studied with two local teachers while growing up in Iowa. While still a teen, she served as the pianist for her local church. She studied music, both piano and voice at Bethel College (now Bethel University) in St. Paul, Minnesota, graduating in 1977. Since that time she has volunteered her musical talents as a church worship leader and school choir accompanist.

        Marilyn enjoyed homeschooling her two sons for six years. She was active in a local home-school co-op as a volunteer teaching a variety of music classes.  She most recently has enjoyed the privilege of being the Worship Leader, playing keys and singing, at her local church in Lakewood, Colorado.  

        Marilyn has been teaching piano for nearly 30 years and teaching online for nearly eight years. She relocated her studio to the Springfield, Missouri area in 2022..
